52840 LPCOMP power consumption with internal ref ladder

nrf52840  nrf5_sdk 16.

Looking to use the LPCOMP to wake the nrf from System OFF.

Question: if I config the LPCOMP to use the internal reference "15-level internal reference ladder (VDD/16)", does that cause the nrf to consume more power when in System OFF mode?

I see there are outstanding tickets about LPCOMP high current usage like this one:

I noticed the above ticket is using the internal reference also...

The case you linked to was for the nRF53 series, so not really comparable to the nRF52840

So yea, the spec as mentioned above states less than 1uA.  But typical is 20uA?  That's over an order of magnitude discrepancy...  But hey, what's a few 10s of uA amongst friends...

yeah, I am sorry for the confusion. Added the power consumption for system off mode to my original answer. In system on mode the power domain that is enabled together with LPCOMP is drawing most of the current.
