Can I use the shell tool through SEGGER RTT on the nRF Connect SDK?

Hello, All

I am developing on windows and want to use shell tools. And saw some descriptions about the shell on the official zephyr document.

But I don’t know how to use SEGGER RTT on windows to connect and enter shell commands.

So I have some question:

1. Can I use SEGGER RTT to use shell tools on windows? If so, how to connect and enter shell commands?

2. If SEGGER RTT cannot be implemented, are there other tools that can implement shell commands? If so, how to do it?

By the way, the J-Link version currently in use is v6.88a.

Hi, 

You can access shell over RTT with the shell enabled. Checked with nrf_desktop's nrf52840dk_nrf52840 ZDebugWithShell configuration. Also, see Connecting via RTT.
