I have permanent error on connect command {0x05, 0x0F, 0x3f, 0xff, 0x40, 0x00 } When I use security option, with or without PassKey. Return message is 01-03-84-0F-8D ACI_STATUS_ERROR_BOND_REQUIRED When I set without security in nRFgo, after connect command device disconnect instantly. 01-03-84-0F-00 (SUCCESS) 01-0F-85-01-13-71- MACADDRESS 01-11-88-01-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00 01-03-86-94- (Disconnect with ERROR) ACI_STATUS_ERROR_PEER_SMP_ERROR

@gumi: Please provide more information on the setup you have, the firmware, which SDK you used, which Softdevice version you are testing.

What did you mean by nRFGo ?

nRFGo - nrf studio for generate xml config and service.h, nrf8001chip rev D in my prototype board, no sdk.

What is the peer device you are testing with? did you previously bond with this device?

Tested it with pc and android device results are the same. Windows and Android discovered and start paring, brake with error after nrf8001 close connection (only with security disabled).

Can you attach your configuration xml file, and preferably also a sniffer trace.

Note that if you enable security you first have to bond, then you can use the connect command for re connecting. Calling the bond command again will delete the previous bond. Note that a bond has to be deleted on both peers.
