Is there a way to store logs in NVS, flash or external SD card from a device?

Dear All,

I wonder if there is a way to redirect the logging operations to any kind of persistent memory type, so that a device can be debugged even when it is not possible to attach a debugger on it.

For example it would be very handy to have the device creating logs, storing them and then somehow send them.

Let me check internally if someone have tried this.

Update: We have the file system logging backend you can use with FAT or Littlefs on a storage, it can be used on any volume supported by the FS. There is no NVS logging backend.

I, as well, am very interested in how this is supposed to work. I can't figure it out with NCS V2.0.0.
