PPK2 LIBUSB error is detected running - on Linux Ubuntu

Setup:

nRF PPK2 is connected via USB to the port DATA/POWER to the PC

Running nRF connect version 3.7 from ubuntu 20 causing the following issue, when using "Power Profiler"

LIBUSB error is detected. Reloading app could resolve the issue. Would you like to reload now?

Using Windows PC - the PPK is working fine.

no it doesn't - it's just appear again.

If I choose NO, I can select the device from the list and it fails (attached another screenshot)

Hi, 

Is it connecting through a hub or something? Could you connect the device directly to the PC and unplug other USB devices as well. We are working on upgrading the technology underhood which will fix the problem, but it takes time.

Dear Amanda Hsieh - thanks for your reply, it was connected directly - without any other USB components... Can you suggest a quick fix?

We bought several PPK2 - and we are all using Linux OS

Right now we practically can't use them.

Did you try to apply the udev rules from here: https://github.com/NordicSemiconductor/nrf-udev?
