How to change the network mode from CAT-NB(NB-IoT) to CAT-M in nrf9160dk device

Hi, 

nrf9160dk device is not latching with CAT-M network. Please provide the solution for changing the "network mode" from CAT-NB(NB-IoT) to CAT-M in nrf9160dk device. 

I have followed below procedure.

1. I have installed the "nRF Connect v3.7.0" on windows machine.
2. Downloaded "nrf9160dk_fw_2020-04-29_bc7ade8b" file and installed the "mfwnrf9160120" and "nrf9160dk_at_client_2020-04-29_bc7ade8b.hex" using Programmer in nRF Connect v3.7.0 UI.
3. In LTE Link Monitor, Modem was responding for the AT commands without any issue.
4. Device by default latching with NB-IoT and no latching with CAt-M.

Hi Bhaskar,

You can use the AT command %XSYSTEMMODE to set the modem system mode. The syntax is as follows:

%XSYSTEMMODE=<LTE_M_support>,<NB_IoT_support>,<GNSS_support>,<LTE_preference>

To set LTE-M mode use the following:

AT%XSYSTEMMODE=1,0,0,0

This must be issued before the modem is activated with AT+CFUN=1, or after setting the modem to flight mode with AT+CFUN=4 if the modem is already activated. For more information you can refer to %XSYSTEMMODE set command.
