nrf24l01+ range support

hi all, since i am new to nRF24L01+ device, kindly any one provide me details regarding range that can be supported by nRF24L01+ device.i already try to find out information in datasheet regarding range but i didn't get it.

Hi,

The maximum range, assuming no loss, is implied in the datasheet by the sensitivity of the radio and the maximum transmitted power. These are:

• TX power: 0dBm

• RX sensitivity: -85dBm

Then you use those numbers with Friis transmission equation(for an example on calculation using this formula, please see this answer). The reason you are going to get so many cryptic answers is that the range depends heavily on how well you are able to tune your antenna, how much loss you have over the air, so the actual range is hard to estimate.
