BLE Mesh support for nRF9160DK

Respected Support Team,

Is it possible to create a BLE Mesh using nRF9160 DK? Alternatively, I also have nRF52840 Dongle and RAK 5010 board which has nRF52840 chip. Can any of them be used used for creating and testing BLE Mesh? Our goal is to use BLE mesh and NB-IoT feature at the same time with the same device. Can you recommend any board? Thanks.

    Hi,

    BLE Mesh is not officially supported on the nRF9160-DK. It should be technically possible to run it but we haven't tested it. Note that the UART transport might affect the performance.

    The boards is not supported in the Mesh examples we have in our SDK by default. I think it is possible to make it work with some modifications, see this.
