Inreasing the output transmission power?

Is it possible to use an output transmission power of 100 mW using Bluetooth Low Energy, in order to increase the distance range?

Hi, 
 In terms of output power, the bluetooth specification says that your output power cannot exceed 10 dBm (10 mW).
To obtain this output power, you will have to add a external RF power amplifier.
