Possible way to increase the RSSI saturation level (dBm) on the NRF52 SoCs

Hi,

I had asked a question here few months back, about the maximum RSSI that can be seen on the nRF52832 chip.

https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/73578/maximum-rssi-value-that-can-be-received-by-the-nrf52832-soc-in-dbm

I had some follow up queries regarding that specification of valid RSSI range of -90dBm to -20dBm.

I wanted to know if it is possible to increase the maximum RSSI seen by the radio by changing some register setting in firmware? Currently I'm seeing a max value of -14dBm using a high power transmitter. Can I change something in the registers so that it can see maybe up to 0dbm of max input power at the receiver.

Another thing I wanted to know was, if there is an Automatic Gain Control present on the receiver side of the nRF52 SoCs.

Thanks
