i started some time ago with building a simple peripheral device, and started form the led-button service example. In there, device manager was not used. However, in most of the examples, device manager is used. I do not need any bonding, or even nog security. Is there any benefit of integrating the device manager? What is involved? And in the LBS example, a lot of security events are implemented as well - is this necessary if I do not need any encryption or anything?
