Does PCA10056 example are really working on PCA10059?

Hi Nordic,

I've been trying to run examples developed for the PCA10059 for several days now without success.

I changed the Preprocessor Definition from BOARD_PCA10056 to BOARD_PCA10059 which is apparently the only thing I need to do.

Also as described in the tutorial: nRF52840 Dongle Programming Tutorial I should be able to specify that I am using the board is nrf52840dongle_nrf52840, which I did the first time I ran SES (Segger Emb. Studio). Now I don't know how to confirm or modify this configuration anymore. It must be set correctly but I where do I change it?

I replied to the Case ID: 237719 because it was similar to my problem, but fearing that, since it is an old thread, I am asking for help in a new request.

I have tried a lot of examples and the only one I am able to build and program is the Blinky.

The Dongle seems to work correctly with the Apps in nRF Connect.

I need a solution to send command over USB from my PC and I can't get anything to work.

Please help,

Thanks,

Mathnitrof

That's in reference to NCS, not nRF5 SDK.

No, the tutorial clearly states that there are several other steps such as turning off logging, adjusting the application flash and RAM usage to fit the MBR. If you're using a nRF52 DK to flash new fw then you also have to adjust the REG0 output to 3V.
