Does nrf52840 support SPH0645 Mic with I2S interface

I know that nrf52832 does not support SPH0645 Mic on I2S interface because of data width limitation in hardware for nrf52832.

I want to know that does nrf52840 has support for SPH0645 Mic?

I2S behavior is similar on nRF52832 and nRF52840 (24-bit sample width)

But the I2S on nRF5340 supports 32-bit sample width, so AFAIK, it should work better there.
