nrf52 SDK examples/peripheral/twim_scanner

Hello fellow developers,

I have purposefully not connected any sensor to my nrf52832 dev. board to see if the example program logs "no device found". Once the application starts, the program logs "twi scanner started", however it never reaches the part where it logs "no device found".

Is this behavior correct or is the program getting stuck?

Have you connected a logic analyzer to see the TWI pins? Is there any external pull-up on the pins? Is the sensor powered?
