UK Coverage (low power)

Hi There

 

I’m hoping to implement a low power always-on/listening (response time <10s) industrial product in the UK

 

I’ve spoken to several acquaintances and had conflicting answers on the topic of UK IoT coverage.

 

From what I understand the Vodaphone NB-IoT covers most of the UK and O2 CAT-M1 LTE covers approximately the right half of the UK.

 

But I’ve been told the network operators haven’t actually turned on the handshaking part to implement RX paging cycles etc?

 

Could anybody confirm please?

Hi Martin, we at Nordic don't have the vendor specific info, have you tried contacting the vendors?

Maybe you can try contacting our RSM in the UK, they might be able to help.
