Ble bootloader Dfu not Advertising in Nrf connect

Hello,

Im New to Nrf51822 im trying with Nrf51822 dfu bootloader dual and single in sdk51 . But after compiling the ble not showing in Nrf connect at all. Whats the IROM and IRAM need to give and also changed Bootloader button to the  D port GPIO also connect the tact switch . Pressed the button when connecting , erazed the program and compiled softdevice and dfu bootloader hex using nrfgo . But not showing in NRF connect not advertising . Anything i missed or any change i need to do.Please Help.

Hi,

I understand you programmed both the SoftDevice and the bootloader, so that should be good. Which SDK version are you using? And which example bootloader project from that SDK?

Hi,

I suggest you refer to the example project, which has this configuration correct allready. This is where you stated, under <SDK8>\examples\dfu\bootloader\pca10028\single_bank_serial_s110\arm5_no_packs\. Here the configuration is as shown here:

I suggest your revert to the example and start form that. If you need to do any changes, then that is possible, but the example is a good starting point.

Is that for Nrf51822

Yes. nRF51822 and nRF51422 is identical in every regard except that the nRF52822 cannot use a ANT stack. For all other uses they are identical, and this is why the DK etc only exists with the nRF51422.

Ok thanks, so in sdk51 examples/dcu/pca10028/singlebank  compiling after that in Nrfgo erasing after that loading softdevice and hexfile right. After that advertising start right. Any other things need to do in it?
