Current consumption during advertising

Hi  Team,

I am expecting 5.8 mA during advertising as per the PS of nrf52810, but I am observing around 8 mA. SDK used - 17.0.2 

Device is consuming 2 mA when CPU is running, which is as per the datasheet.

Could you please let me know why is it consuming extra 2mA during advertising ?

Hello,

Have you enabled the DCDC regulator (can be enabled with sd_power_dcdc_mode_set() after Softdevice enable), and what is the supply voltage? Note that you can use our online power profiler to estimate the peak current for other supply voltages not listed in the PS.

Hi Vidar, Thank you for your reply. I was using 2 V as supply for which it is matching with the values from the tool.

Thanks for the update. Yes, that explains why you see 8 mA and not 6 mA.
