Using nrfjprog with Segger JLINK remote server

Currently we are developing against hardware sensors etc. that we have installed in our warehouse

It would be great to be able to develop remotely (ie. from home) without use of a remote desktop viewer

Is it possible to use nrfjprog with a jlink connected over IP (on JLink remote server, or eth jlink)

Can do this with JLink.exe by providing an IP during connect

JLink.exe ip 192.168.X.X

Hi Amanda,

I have succeeded in connecting to the JLink remote with other tools - segger studio etc.

But I can not get nrfjprog to work with the remote setup -  is this possible?

 What does the log say? Try the latest version of nRF-Command-Line-Tools

Yes, I am able to connect with commander and other jlink tools over IP.

nrfjprog output

> nrfjprog -r --log
ERROR: There is no debugger connected to the PC.

There is no argument option to pass the IP of the jlink as there is in the JLink standard tools, and the standard JLink prompt to connect over IP does not show either

It's not supported at the moment, but we are actually working on this feature for 10.15.0. However, I don't have the schedule.
