ble_app_uart continuous advertise

Hi,

I am using nRF52810 (s112 softdevice) with SDk version "17.0.2". 

How do I set BLE advertise in continuous mode(if not connected then advertise continuously until it gets connected) when using "ble_app_uart" application? Is it possible with this application?

I tried changing "APP_ADV_DURATION" value to a large number but didn't work.

Any suggestions would be much great.

Hello,

To advertise in continuous mode (no timeout) you will need to set the advertising duration to 0, and changing the advertising type to BLE_GAP_ADV_FLAGS_LE_ONLY_GENERAL_DISC_MODE.
The beacon example from the SDK uses advertising without timeout, you could also take a look there to see how it is implemented.
