Error while creating a project in nCS installation directory

Hi,

I have nCS installed and when creating a project in nCS installation directory (default path), then i have option to choose "Configure nRF Connect SDK Project" from Project Tab as in below screenshot:

But when i create same project at some other directory outside nCS installation directory (default path), the it is giving me an error of "Cannot find Python version 3 on PATH" as in below screenshot, kindly help me resolve the python error

Hi!

Are you using the Toolchain Manager to open SES, or do you have it installed independently? 

If you have it installed independently, make sure that the path to Python3 is added as a PATH. Which OS are you using?

I am using toolchain manager to open segger, Can you kindly inform me where i can set the "PATH" and to what i need to set the "PATH=".?

Yes, you need to set the path to your python installation as a global environment variable.

How to do this depends on what OS you are using, which I can't tell from your pictures.

I am using nRF Connect desktop and segger toolchain on windows OS, can you inform me where and how can i set the path.

Yes. In the Windows menu search for "Edit the system environment variables" -> Advanced -> Environment Variables... -> System variables -> Double click on "Path" and make sure the path to Python is in there and that it is the correct version.
