beacon sample do not work

I am using nr5340 and it adrvertise as nordic_lbs.. but i want to advertise through beacon sample. it still shows nordic_lbs in my mobile nrfconnect software. but it should show like test_beacon.. as per guide.. i have unintsall and intsall it.. still no luck.. i have erased the board and then tried again.. but it do not work

Is the nRF5340 device you're trying to program a development kit or a custom board? Okay, glad it works through command line at least. The only suggestion regarding SES I have for you is to uninstall it and reinstall it entirely. Then make sure you follow the "Building with SES" guide, as that should be sufficient to build and flash projects with SES.

Regarding this light_cntrl application. Is it based on another sample project in the nRFConnect SDK or what? How is the BLE and advertising set up in this application?

i don't know anything about light_ctrl.. but i reinstalled my sdk and upgraded to latest 7 version of SES and then my beacon sample and peripheral UART worked fine .. flashe din my mobile.. thank you for your help.. but this board nrf5340 do not work for wifi .. that was my requirement

Correct, the nRF5340 does not support Wi-Fi. Should we close this case then?
