I am working on a limited release project that has multiple devices which require programming. Part of the appeal of this device is its programmability so I am going to provide a custom debug dongle. My question is, what chipset is the best option for the nrf (specifically the 5340).
For everything else an ftdi chip works (jtag and uart) and there is some evidence that OpenOCD will support nrf but it looks really flakey.
The devkits use the segger chips. Is J-Link OB "the" option? Licensing for segger is very fuzzy.
