How to read the UID of NFC tag in nRF52832? I'm using an MFRC522 RFID\NFC reader and Raspberry Pi.

Hai everyone,

I'm using nRF52832 SDK15. I want to use NFC Tag in this.

I have an MFRC522 RFID/NFC Reader with Raspberry pi

i tried all example codes, But im not getting FIELD_DETECTED event..when i place a reader near to antenna.

my Questions are

1. how to read the UID of the NFC tag in nRF52832? what is the length of UID?

2. which program should I use for nRF52832?

3. can anyone explain the process of reading UID?

(note: My mobile doesn't support NFC)

Are you suing a nRF52 DK or is it a custom board ?

Actually, I'm using an SRM200A Module(link https://yadom.fr/media/product-attachment//home/magento///File-1576836266.pdf) 

This Module has Wifi, Sigfox, Gps. by programming nRF52832 we are controlling all other Chips.

Refer to the datasheet for more details. I gave the link.

Are you using the SRM200A module on a custom PCB or on its own?


What NFC antenna are you using on the SRM200A module?

Can you test with a different NFC reader? could you borrow a phone with NFC to test ?


Do you know that the MFRC522 RFID/NFC Reader with Raspberry pi works ?


I would try to narrow down any potential sources of error here by eliminating as much as possible to find the issue.

I'm using a development board only.

I'm using a W7001  Antenna. 

I will try.

I Think In this board we need to Tune an antenna, they didn't mention that.

how to find the Capacitance value for tuning?

Is the W7001 antenna connected to pin 44 and 45 of the SRM200A , and does the board have space for matching components for the NFC antenna ?

You can see how we recommend that you tune the antenna in the nWP026.
