nrf connect SDK V1.6.1 Known issues

Hi,Nordic:

Can nRF Connect SDK V1.5.1 fix the following two known problems? Give me a patch? thanks.

in nRF Connect SDK v1.6.0

• Fixed an issue where “HCI Read RSSI” would always return a Command Disallowed (0x0C) error code (DRGN-15310).

• Fixed an issue where setting radio output power using the vendor-specific HCI command Zephyr Write TX Power Level returned “Unsupported Feature or Parameter value (0x11)”. Now the controller will select an output power level that is lower or equal to the one requested. The command returns success and the selected power level (DRGN-15369).

The issue/problem is in the SoftDevice Controller. The SoftDevice Controller comes as a library, not as source code, so a source-code patch is not possible. You should upgrade to nRF Connect SDK v1.6 to get the fix.

How much is the migration workload from SDK v1.5.1 to SDK v1.6?

Is there a migration guide?

It will depend on the application, but there will likely be some work with porting to the new workqueue API, assuming that you use that, see the migration note here in the release notes:
