nRF9160 receives garbage data on UART sometimes

Hi, 

I am using NCS 1.5.0 and modem firmware 1.2.3. 

In my application I need to receive few commands from PC UART  (UART 0).

Baudrate is 115200 without HW control.

I have observed that sometimes I receive garbage characters on UART. 

For Example, 

I send UUT*SIM=? command from PC to nRF91 then sometimes I receive below on nRF91.

ª*SIM=?

I tried to change the baudrate to 9600 also but this issue comes with that also. 

Kindly guide me what can be wrong in this ?

Hello, 

Can you please provide some more details on what you are trying to achieve? What sample are you running? Are you working with the nRF9160DK, Thingy:91, or custom hardware?
