bash >west flash --erase Fatal Error 33

I have designed/copied the suggested circuitry of the nRF9160. I am attempting to program the custom board through a nRF9160DK. It is connected and the command west flash --erase produces a fatal error 33. I have attempted to run down the error, but am not finding the information I would like. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

can you please provide some more information on how you connect your custom HW to the nRF9160 DK? Are both boards powered with correct voltage? Can you please provide the output when running the command? What version of nrfjprog and jlink drivers are you using?
