BUILD CONFIGURATIONS

Hi 

I am new to Nordic

I am using nordic nrf52832 with segger embedded software tool woth nordic support version NRF SDK 16.0.0

I am facing issue with build configutations.

I have set my build configuration as public configuration

under that i always kept "Release" option

Now a days in release configuration there is build error occurred like "error: can't open C:/nordic_brindha/nRF5_SDK_16.0.0_98a08e2/examples/PILLPAL/Final_ETP2.1/pca10040/s132/ses/ for reading"

after changing build configuration as "Debug" instead of "Release" it will build successfully.

Please anyone help me to solve the issue.

Try following the steps in "Compiling and running a first example" to debug this issue: https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/sdk_nrf5_v17.1.0/getting_started_examples.html

It could also be that your folder path is too long, try moving the SDK folder directly under your C:/ directory.

Thank you for the reply

I already moved my SDK folder in C:/ directory. Also shorten the path name. But the same error was occurred. I tried without soft device simple example code it was build successfully. With soft device code was not able to build successfully. Before 2 months it was build successfully. The issue came just only. I don't make any changes in my project file.

Please help me to find out the issue.

Please add all steps you have gone through when you are getting this error so I am able to see if I can reproduce it on my side.
