    pls tell here in this code where and how to add the adv transmission powr

  • Hello,

    Please use the Insert -> Code option when sharing code here on DevZone.
    You should set the transmission power as part of your advertising initialization, before you start the advertising.

    Best regards,
    Karl

    }

    where to add and what to add pls help

  • The advertising handle needs to be initialized before the sd_ble_gap_tx_power_set call.

    Add the following at the end of the advertising_init function:

        ..
        int8_t tx_power_level = 4;

        err_code = sd_ble_gap_tx_power_set(BLE_GAP_TX_POWER_ROLE_ADV, m_advertising.adv_handle, tx_power_level);
        APP_ERROR_CHECK(err_code);
        ..

    You can check to see that the RSSI changes accordingly with any advertising scanner.

    is it how shall it work?? i have added

    APP_ERROR_CHECK(err_code);

    pls chek
