nRF9160 in India

Hello,

Have any developers here on the forum had luck with getting the nRF9160 DK working in India?

Our India dev team has looked extensively and has not yet been able to source a SIM card provider who does not require a minimum spend (1000+ SIM cards).

    Hello Robert,

    We have supported several customers in India using the nRF9160. The Regional Sales Manager for India, Gaurov Kapoor,  [email protected], is a great place to start to learn more about deployments in India. 

    I am unsure about the minimal SIM's required to setup a contract. I think Jio is one of the first ready in the market but again I will yield to the local business people.
