BLE connection with Mobile

Hi,

I'm using Nrf52840 to connect to a Mobile via BLE.

I'm advertising to start connection, and after bonding, I can start advertising with whitelist in order to connect again.

When using specific types of mobile phones (One plus, for example), it works great!

When using other types of mobile phones (Redmi, for example), it doesn't work very good, while the mobile doesn't always find the advertising device.

I've tried to change advertising interval to 50 ms. It works better now, but still - sometimes the mobile can't find the advertising device.

Do you have an ideas - what can I do to solve that?

Hi,

My guess is that the issue is the antenna design on the specific phone. Most likely the One plus phone has a better design in terms of RF.

In addition - I've noticed that while my application can't find the advertising device, the Nrf connect finds it.

Is it possible that I need to use the same scan window and interval parameters, in order to find the device as well?

Where can I find those parameters?

Hi,

Scan interval and window are 100/20 ms respectively.
