When i debug, don't work the logical.

Hi, when i'm debugging my circuit, the logical of a if or while don't work. In the image, the timeout_rtc is higher than 100, but the value of a don't change to 1. What's wrong?

The variables are define:

static volatile bool a = 0;

static unsigned char  timeout_rtc = 0;

I'm using stlink V2.

Won't this just fall through in case timeout_rtc == 100? Maybe consider changing line 323 to:

if ( timeout_rtc >= 100)

Yes, probably because the if statement is placed withing the while loop? so you exit the while loop before it has the chance to enter the if statement?

Alternatively you could also add "timeout_rtc <= 100" for the while loop condition.
