CLI with RTT Show all commands

Using SDK 17

There must be a way to show all commands in RTT without needing the tab to work right?

Ive been digging through the code but don't see where the magic happens.

I assume I'd need to add a top level 'Help' command for this to work?

Where does the tab handler hide?

I have done that, unfortunately it doesn't actually work. Putty displays ^I and nothing else happens.

I think you somehow is not sending a tab ('\t'), this should be handled in nrf_cli.c:

                switch (data)
                {
                    ...
                    case '\t':                          /* TAB */
                        if (cli_flag_echo_is_set(p_cli))
                        {
                            cli_tab_handle(p_cli);
                        }
                        break;
                    ...
                }

Maybe you can set a breakpoint in switch(data) to see what value you are actually typing when pressing tab?

apparently you have to have echo turned on, or it skips it, per line 5 above.

I still think there should be a better default
