API to get a peripheral bonded device's physical address

Hey,

I have a nRF central that connects and bonds to peripheral devices via BLE.

From what I understand, the peripheral device has a BLE MAC address that isn't consistent, but a resolvable MAC address of the physical address.

Is there an API to get the consistent MAC address of the device? I couldn't find the API for it.

Hi, 

There is no physical address when the device uses the resolvable address. It is only by bonding with a device that you may get the IRK (identity resolvable key) that you will be able to recognize a device that is advertising and thereby also potentially connect.
