fds_file_delete deletes all files

Hello,

I am using the Peer Manager and FDS.

I am storing one record with file id 0x1111 and record key 0x2000.

When I call fds_file_delete(0x1111), subsequent call of fds_gc deletes all data in FDS, including the data stored by the Peer Manager with file id C007

What am I missing ?

How are you checking that FDS data is being deleted?

Hi,

This seems odd. Can you share your FDS related code? And perhaps a flash dump from before and after the call to fds_file_delete (using something like "nrfjprog.exe --memrd 0 --n 0x80000 > flash_dump.txt")?

Also, which SDK version are you using?

I'm using SDK 16.0.0.

I can see now that the data I was lloking at was deleted but the correct data has been moved to another part of the memory, so it should be ok ?

I see, that is good. This is expected behavior. Data is shifted around when you do garbage collection.
