nRf52840 chips Plus FRAM

If I want to make nfr52840 chips connect to FRAM memory, does it work?

That should be ok I guess. But there's no drivers fur such memory in the SDK so you must implement this yourselves. Not possible to map it to the internal memory either.

Do you mean it is impossible to back up the memory onto the FRAM, cannot restore the memory from the FRAM either?

Depends what you mean by backup the memory. You can save something to external memory and read it back later. But a complete "backup" of all RAM and register content can't be done.
