nRF9160 as LTE with 2 UART

hello together,

I would like to use this chip nRF9160-SIAA-B1A-R now only as LTE modem. But the modem should be controlled by two external MCU. Please see figure.

UART0
RX	P0.28
TX	P0.29
RTS	P0.27
CTS	P0.26

UART1
RX	P0.00
TX	P0.01
RTS	P0.14
CTS	P0.15

1- It is possible to impelmient as follows?

2- Does the modem firmware support that modem be controlled via two UART (I can talk to the modem over two UARTs)?

If YES, are there any similar examples?

I can't see any reasons for why it should not able to implement this. Will need to verify with our developers.

 

2- Does the modem firmware support that modem be controlled via two UART (I can talk to the modem over two UARTs)?

You will need to implement this by yourself as we do not have any examples for this.

Hi, 

Our developers inform me that SLM can only listen to one phyiscal channel. You will need to share one UART bus using mux.
