nrf9160 dk uart communication nrf9160 to nrf52840

Please note that I am not using hci_lpuart. How can I configere the Uart so that it can communicate between the nrf9160 and the nrf52840 on a nrf9160 dk?

Hello, 

The case you are linking to is fairly outdated. What version of nRF Connect SDK are you working on? Can you please elaborate more on what you are trying to achieve with the communication? Please note that the nRF52840 acts as a board controller for the nRF9160DK, and that not all functionality is available. I recommend reading the Working with nRF9160DK.

I am not able to use the bluetooth: HCI low power UART because I want to be able to make changes to nrf52 code. Is there an alternative example?
