Debugging watchdog timer

I'm attempting to cause the watchdog timer to timeout and activate for a verification test. I'm using Segger Ozone as my debugger. My OS platform is Windows10. I cannot seem to alter any of the WDT's register contents. I cannot alter the source code for this test as this would not provide adequate proof of a working watchdog under normal operation. Is there a simple test I can perform with our without a debugger that can help prove that the watchdog works as intended by causing the processor to reset when the watchdog timer times out?

Thanks,

Johnas
