ble_dfu.h file not found

I added the DFU service to my project.

I will get this error: #5: cannot open source input file "ble_dfu.h": No such file or directory

This error appears in the dfu_app_handler file. But in the ble_dfu file is everything ok.

How is that possible?

The dfu_app_handler and the ble_dfu file are in the same folder. So if the ble_dfu. h file is missing in the dfu_app_handler, why it isnt missing in the ble_dfu file??

Hi,

You need to add the path for ble_dfu.h

This path is SDK_8.1\components\ble\ble_services\ble_dfu

So you would have to type in something like(this depends on your file structure)

..\..\..\..\..\components\ble\ble_services\ble_dfu

Thank you for the fast support. I know how to import files and I have ble_dfu added. But the error is still there. I have the Dfu working for other projcets. But this is the first time i try it on the SDK 8.1. And this error appears only on this project(SDK 8.1)

What is the path of your dfu_app_handler file? Is it possible that it is either one layer up or one layer down compared to the main.c file? If so the linker will not find the correct path.

dfu_app_handler -> SDK8.1/components/libraries/bootloader_dfu

main.c -> SDK 8.1/ examples/ble_peripheral/motorcontrol
