nRF9160 recommended SIM card interface schematic

Hi.

Simcom SIM7000 series datasheet recommends the following schematic:


Simcoms SIM800C module datasheet recommends the following schematic:


Quectel BG96 module datasheet recommends the following schematic:

Please observe that between the circuits the position/side of the pF capacitors are not the same.

I did a look into nRF9160_PS_v2.0 and at page 389 is shown the basic schematic for nRF9160, but I did not found any recommendation for the SIM interface schematic to use with nRF9160, so I ask, what would be the recommendation?

Is it required the series resistors for CLK/DAT/RST lines and pF capacitors? Or can make direct connections for all them without any pF capacitor and just need to place the 100nF cap. at VSIM and the TVS diodes?
