Generating 38kHz Carrier

Hello, Do you guys know if it is possible to generate a stable 38kHz signal using the Nordic?

I have been able to generate the required frequency however I am observing some downtimes, I assume this is because the Nordic is going to sleep, or the Bluetooth is taking some CPU time.

Is there perhaps a better way to generate this signal? Instead of using Timers and Interrupts, perhaps there are hardware PWM that can continuously generate this signal?

Use the PWM library available with the SDK, if you do not change the duty cycle, then there is no danger of getting an inverted signal (some issues seen with nRF51). We have a dedicated PWM module only in nRF52.

Thanks for the response Aryan. My question was less about the inverted signal, and more regarding the Bluetooth Radio interrupting the PWM generation.

Does the PWM Library with the SDK prevent this?

yes, it does not get these pauses with bluetooth activity. So you can safely use this
