nRF sniffer - Wireshark not listing the Interface

Hi,

I'm using Windows 10, Python 3.10, Wireshark 3.4.9, pyserial 3.5.

Hex used : sniffer_nrf52dk_nrf52832_4.0.0.hex

I see this question has been asked before but the solutions did not work for me.

I get the following output to verify the extcap.

I don't see Interface with COM port info.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

Please try to disable the mass storage class on your Jlink as described here: https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/1.7.0/zephyr/guides/tools/nordic_segger.html#disabling-the-mass-storage-device-functionality and see if it helps (remember to power-cycle the board at the end for the change to take effect). It says the issue has only been observed on Linux and macOS, but I have seen it on some Windows systems as well.

I used the same Development board and used my other PC it worked for me but when I follow the same steps I am observing this issue of not finding the interface.

Did you try to disable the mass storage class. Note that most Windows installations do not have this issue I mentioned. Also, have you tried connecting to another USB port on your PC? If you are using a USB hub, try to connect it directly to a port on the PC instead.
