nRF9160: eSIM current consumption with eDRX

Can you please clarify the typical eSIM current consumption when using eDRX?

Is the eSIM module on all the time? If so, what is the typical consumption?

If possible to turn off, is there a minimum eDRX timer (for SIM I think I read it’s at least 1 min?), or can it be turned off immediately after an eDRX cycle?

Hello,

in eDRX the SIM will enter clock stop mode, which typically will draw 30-60 uA. If the eDRX interval is set to more than one minute, and XDATAPRFL is set to 0, the SIM will be turned off and draw zero current. More information can be found here.
