I'm facing various issues with nRF Connect for VS Code on Linux (Ubuntu 21.10):
"Create a new application from sample" keeps the "Create Application" button grayed out/disabled most of the time - although the data entered is valid. Sometimes however it does work, and a new project can be created. Obviously a bug. It would be useful to have at least an info message to know where to start looking. The way it is right now it's just plainly frustrating.
Hitting the "Browse..." button right next to "Application template" shows the list of samples. Filtering is completely broken (both the checkboxes and the text input field). It used to work for the first few projects I was playing around with...
An then there's the already known issue that "PATH" is the only accepted setting of "nRF Connect Toolchain" setting.
Neither restarting VS Code, nor restarting the whole computer nor uninstalling and reinstalling "nRF Connect Extension Pack" reliably fixes any of those issues.
Any ideas how to get it running reliably are appreciated.
Have a nice weekend,
Michael.
