nRF9160 debug UART output is glitchy

Hi,

I am using a nRF9160-SICA-B1 and sometimes will see debug output that looks like this in Tera Term:

Basically it appears like the device cannot properly display some characters but is fine displaying others (capitals and numerals?). I just want to make sure this isn't a HW issue. I've tried the obvious like resetting Tera Term, changing cables but sometimes it starts to glitch like this.

SDK: v1.6.1, modem firmware 1.3.0

I have not seen this issue in the past and was using a nRF9160-SIAA for my last build and switched over the the SICA.

Any insight on what this might be from?

Hi Wiley,

Have you tried using another serial terminal, like Termite or PuTTY?

This type behavior often goes away when restarting the terminal emulator, and it is likely not caused by the nRF9160.
