nRF52833 DK Problem - PCA10100 heart rate demo not working

I powered the DK up and the LED's would light corresponding to the button that was pushed.  

The D drive would come up, so I drug the heart rate demo (hex file) to the drive and it programed.

Upon reboot, the Green LED1 would never come on.  I tried pushing the buttons to get it our of sleep mode but nothing happened.  

I got into bootloader mode and copied J-Link OB-SAM3U128-V2-NordicSemi 170724.bin over and rebooted. Now the Blinky LED does not work.   No matter what button I push no LED's ever come on and the NFC is not working.

I have tried 10 times to reprogram this and nothing ever changes.

I bought a 2nd DK and it is also doing the exact same thing.  

I have 2 DK's that never have the green LED1 come on nor does NFC work, so I cannot do any demos or nothing.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

You should not program the DK by dragging the hex file to the device in file explorer. If you have a pre-compiled hex file you can program it using either nrfjprog or the nRF Connect Programmer. To program it using the Programmer app, you can follow the guide here: Programming a Development Kit. If you want to use nrfjprog, you will have to install the nRF Command Line Tools. To program the DK, run the following command, but change file.hex to the file you want to program:

nrfjprog -f NRF52 --program file.hex –-chiperase
