Advertising in connection - fastest interval & risk

Hi,

I know that when advertising in non-connectable mode, the fastest advertising interval is 100ms. I have some questions about this:

1. Is there any document explaining why we have this number? And is there any chance that I can reduce this number (e.g. using timeslot APIs)?

2. Is there any risk doing advertising in connection? Will I ever get an softdevice assertion?

I'm using SD s110 v7.0 on nrf51822 chip.

1. This is defined in the Bluetooth Core specification v4.2, see Vol 6, Part B, Section 4.4.2.2.

2. You will not get an softdevice assertion by doing advertising in a connection.
