VC NRF connect plugin can not find device

Hello,

It there a way to configure the NRF connect plugin to find/use a network connected JLink? Does it need to be directly connected via USB?

BTW, I downloaded the latest nRF command line tools and they are able to identify IP connected JLink devices. However the VCS plugin is not able to see them.
