IoT M2M Sim card for nRF9160DK

Hi, 

We are using nRF9160dk in India. Currently no LTE M network in India if I am not wrong. Is it possible to use any M2M IoT sim cards like Airtel or global IoT sim cards like hologram? Is there any other solutions like using external modem for connecting to cellular IoT. Anybody using Jio NB-IoT sim cards? Please let me know how to get an NB-IoT sim card in India or any other possible solutions for connecting to the network.

I'm also facing same situation. I'm in Bangalore India. I bought Airtel M2M sim. I don't think it gonna work. Can somebody tell me which Network provider SIM can be use for NB-IoT / LTE-M bands in India. As I know Jio is providing the SIM cards with NB-IoT support. I seen it in their official Website, but minimum order is 100 sim cards which is really not good for R&D. So any other solutions ?

Hello Manu_Devappa,

I'm afraid that Jio is the only SIM available, that we know of. You will need to contact you local network providers for an IoT SIM card that supports NB-IoT or LTE-M.
