nrf5340 - BLE Central sample fails to connect to BLE Peripheral with 0x016 error code

Hello,

I am using a nrf5340DK to test the BLE Central sample of Zephyr. 

As a BLE peripheral I am using a nrf52840 dongle. I have it configured via nrfconnect SDK - Bluetooth low energy software. 

The nrf5340DK scans for peripherals, finds the dongle, connects to it, but then it is automatically disconnected with error code 0x016. 

What could be the reason?

I think I have found it. There is line in code causing it to disconnect upon connection. I have removed it and now connection remains active.
